Mike began his career as an operational manager in the construction industry, using programme management and line management skills to manage construction contracts, as well as bidding for new business as a bid manager.
After leading an IT roll-out and becoming involved in quality auditing, Mike decided that his future lay in helping organisations to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness and to implement change — though he still takes an interest in construction.

Mike has lead local and international initiatives across a wide range of sectors, for an equally diverse selection of medium and large businesses, as well as for a number of public sector organisations, spanning virtually all business functions, including working in French. Mike is also a member of the Chartered Management Institute.
Mike’s has successfully delivered a wide range of assignments sometimes providing consultancy, sometimes implementation, and often involving both. These have included:
Mike has worked in multiple sectors, including construction, engineering, economics, automotive information management and publishing, social housing, facilities management, and for the NHS, as well as for a United Nations agency. Mike’s skills are, of course, readily transferable elsewhere, and he welcomes enquiries irrespective of sector.
